Reports to: Oracle Support Team Manager
What is the job?
Working within the Oracle Support Team, your primary role will be to provide technical development support for the Oracle E-Business Suite and associated products in order to improve business efficiency and help deliver budget savings.
As part of a small multi-function team you will also support your colleagues from time to time in a range of support activities such as analysing user incidents raised through our service desk or participation in other maintenance tasks.
You will participate in all phases of in-house Oracle E-Business Suite implementation and development, working directly with business partners to analyse and translate complex technical issues into business terms and recommend and provide solutions
Who are we looking for?
Ideally successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience of the following:
• Oracle Forms & Reports development
• PL/SQL, SQL, SQL Loader
• Oracle Workflow, Discoverer & Alerts
• AME (Approvals Management)
• Oracle JDeveloper with OA Framework Extension
• BI Publisher
• XML, Java &UNIX / shell script
• Framework personalization / forms configuration
• Experience of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, HR and Payroll on11.5.10 or Release 12.
• You will have solid experience in the full development life cycle, including requirements gathering, systems/business analysis and technical development of Oracle E-Business Suite.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, good attention to detail, and experience of working to deadlines
• A good communicator with good interpersonal skills to develop relationships with people at all levels
