What is the job?
This is an exciting opportunity for you to help inform and shape Housings IT in a systems thinking context.
You will be co-located with the Housing Service and play a leading role in ensuring that the use of ICT is fully aligned with the Housing Service's business requirements.
You will ensure that business and ICT strategies are co-ordinated and enable a shared understanding of legislative drivers, business trends, medium and long term plans, priorities, governance arrangements, etc
You will produce strategic and detailed requirements, options appraisals and recommendations based on business case.
You will ensure that the business is able to realise the anticipated benefits from the solutions implemented.
You will oversee programmes of work and will ensure value for money is obtained.
You will manage the day to day work activities of the IT Housing Team.
You will maximise use of internal and external funding opportunities.
You will ensure that business areas are fully engaged with ICT, based on a shared understanding of requirements and capability, and that users are fully satisfied with the information services delivered to them.

• Extensive IT experience
• The ability to lead and manage a team (delivering front line IT services and support services)
• Providing fit for purpose customer solutions to time, quality and budget
• You will be innovative and creative
• Tenacious and ambitious with excellent negotiation skills with the ability to bring all parties/stakeholders on board
• An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills to develop relationships with people at all levels
